I love air plants! Yet somehow, air plants are on their way to becoming the new succulent. If you recall my article, Our Complicated Relationship with Succulents, you understand what I am saying. Air plants, like succulents, have started to gain a bad reputation for being misrepresented in the house plant world, causing them to be quickly embraced as an easy-going and adaptable plant only to be just as quickly discarded as too difficult and picky for us to juggle.
We’ve headed straight down the same path with air plants that we did with succulents. It may be too late for some, but, save yourself!
